Custom Chalkboards exists because most “chalkboards” on the market aren't chalkboards at all — they're painted hardboard or plastic imitations that scratch, ghost, and warp within a season.

So we build the real thing. Porcelain baked onto steel — from the same American mill that's supplied schools and institutions for decades. Solid hardwood and precision aluminum frames. Each board cut to your exact dimensions by craftsmen who care about every joint, edge, and bake.

Today our boards hang in cafés, restaurants, classrooms, and kitchens across the country — places where the surface gets written on every single day and has to read clean every time.
